Missouri Trip

It has been such a treat to be here for this trip. I have learned so much and have got to be in places that are important to my family. Here are a few pictures of where we have been and some old pictures that I found that I had to put in. I know that some of them won't mean much to any one reading this, but they mean a lot to me and just wanted to share them.

St Louis

I am in Missouri! I am here on a family reunion/ family history trip with my Grandma and Granddad Helvey. For those of you who don't know I love history just ask my brothers, parents, and husband. I get hooked on it. My Helvey side of the family is from Missouri and my granddad was born here. This is also the place that my grandparents met. I am so excited to be here and learn more about where my family came from and who they all are. Here is the first day of my adventures. I toured some important sites in St. Louis with my granddad's cousins, Bonnie and Kelly.

This is the store where my Granddad was born. He was born right in the back! His parents built the store and they lived above it for several years.

Fallen Off The Face of The Earth

Well update...with no pictures. We have done lots since I last posted.

1. We finish our semester.
2. Packed and stored our whole apartment.
3. Brandon went to Las Vegas with a friend.
4. I went to Lake Hebgen MT with the Harts/Bodines.
5. I went to Provo and stayed with my friends for a little bit (One of my Besties got married!!!)
6. We moved to Maryland.
7. Brandon set up his office to work on ours and a few clients investments.
8. I started working at the Olney Children's Center.

Wow I feel like we have done way too much the last couple months. All of them are pretty self explanatory. Hebgen was way fun as always and it was nice to be with family (well close enough)! Maddie was awesome in the Play Mill! For those of you who dont know what that is it is a little theater in West Yellowstone that Madeline is involved in. We have been going there wor years and it was so fun to see someone I knew in the plays. They were great. I also got to stay at Grandma and Grandpa Hart's house for a night! It was so fun to see where they live and where Michelle grew up.

I drove down to Utah and spent two weeks with my BYU girly friends. Andrea got married to a great guy named Garrett Bodine. It was fun to be a bridesmaid and do all those fun wedding things!

I got to Maryland two and a half weeks ago and went job searching. I found a job and started on Monday. I am really enjoying it. It is full time and I am the lead teacher in a junior kindergarten class. I have anywhere from 20 to 25 kids and I am really enjoying the other teachers I am working with.

Hopefully I wil have some pictures soon but this is all I could bring myself to do tonight! Hope all is well!
